Change an address on a customer invoice after it has been posted

Is it possible to change an address on a customer invoice after it has been posted to the system or does a credit and re-issue need to be done? I am using Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2018

WIthout development and a partner-developerlicense it is not possible.

Also remember when posting an invoice it is a legal document that you cannot (and should not) change even though it is something as simple as an address.

Hi Palle, if it is credited and re-issued it is ok. I just wanted to see if there was a way in doing it without having to do this. Do you know if there is a way to create a credit note without it affecting the stock levels?

if your license has Dev. granula you can change the page and update Editable property

It is an end-user so it is not possible.

Technically it will be a plus and a minus. But if you specify the item entry no. of the credit memo, then you can make sure it’s “reselling” the exact same items. Or you could even “return” it to separate location, if you use locations.
