Customer has a CA license file and is on version 3.10a. When attempting to use CFRONT, we get an error message that the country code does not match the license file in the fin.stx file. Even though the Fin.stx file in the Navision program folder has the same country code as the license file, the error still happens. The language setting in the Navision client is set to English (Canada). We were able to resolve the problem by copying the fin.stx file from the ENC folder to the ENU folder. Why is CFRONT looking for a fin.stx file in the ENU folder when everthing appears to be set to Canada? What setting are we missing? How can we get CFRONT to work correctly without the strange file copy hack? Thanks.
I had the same problem. The reason was that there was a “leftover” in the registry that pointed to the wrong STX file. So the suggestion was to uninstall all versions of Attain (and C/Front) on the pc. Then manually check the registry and delete keys here. And then install the new Attain and C/Front again.
