Dear all,

Cash Receipt Journal can be found in the Financial Management ==> Cash Management…
Why does it Call So when it will cater to receipts for both Cash and Bank ??

Plz give your remarks.

Cash receipt journal is a W1 version option. Bank balance is equivalent to cash with the difference that you issue check instead of currency note.

AFAIK in european countries normally companies do not pay cash but issue check therefore one journal was good enough.

Indian localization have separate voucher formats customized as per Indian requirement.

Can I rename the “Cash Receipt Jouranl” as “Receipt Journal”, because it caters to both Bank and Cash recepts is separate batches ??
