Carton in the BOM

Hi There,

Suppose i have a BOM like this :

1/81 = if we produce 81 Pcs B0001, we need by 1 C0001(Carton) for packing purpose, if produce 82 Pcs B0001 then we also have to buy 2 C0001,so whats the best practice to meets this kind of requirement ?

From my point of view, i would like to set the quantity to 1/81 on the BOM line item(C0001), and setup the “Rounding-up” = Quantity, and Multiples = 1 on the BOM line setup form.

Please give some suggestions, many thanks.

I believe you can use “per series” column in your BOM Line.

What this means is you need 1 quantity for every 81 pcs of finished product.
