Cannot Edit an SSRS report in AX 2012 R2 CU7

Hi Guys!

Good day!

I am new to SSRS report and when trying to edit an SSRS report in Visual Studio, I got this error message below. May I know why am I getting this? If someone can help me resolve this issue, it would be a very big help. Please see below screenshot.

The setup is I have two servers, AOS and Database servers(SQL Server 2012). Visual Studio 2010 and AX Visual Studio Tools are installed in AOS server. Reporting services and Analysis services are installed in Database server. And also, BI Tools are installed in Database Server.

You need to install BI studio on the same machine where VS is installed to connect to SSRS

Thanks for the reply.

You mean i will install the SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) on AOS server? So my AOS server has also an SQL Server installed?
