Please advise on below error message while trying to Estimate the Production Order .

Cannot create a record in Production BOM (ProdBOM). Production: PR/1819/000229077, BR00711.The record already exists.

I think a production order already with that number exists.

Please check the Production order number with a list of available production orders.

I have checked production order Number in Prod BOM table , it was not there.

It is most likely a customization you have. Debug it. 99 times out of 100 this is the case. I have never seen a standard system so this but have read this many times on forums, Airways seems to be the end users view.

Got the issue , It was item card issue .

Could you explain that further for future users because the item card has no impact on the scenario you posted in standard.

In Item Card , Production Type was BOM and while estimated it’s trying to create Production order for that Item , But that item Default order type is Purchase order not Production.

Yeah still nothing to do with the error message but I suppose we will leave it.
