Can not open Setting up accounts payable parameters

Hello,

We are using AX2009 SP1.

I can not open:
“Setting up accounts payable parameters:” in DynamicsAx
I get an error :
Insufficient permissions to use the table parameters need to purchase (PurchReqParameters).

I have registered modules:
Company Accounts
Database Log
Domains
Electronic Banking
Fixed Assets
Financials II
Polish
Base Package Enterprise
Business Analysis
Oracle Server Database
Additional Enterprise Users

in Axapta 3.0 I had the opportunity

Hi

I think permission is not given for the user to open the AP Parameter.

Login with Admin User and try to open. Then you can go to Administration>User>Permission and give full access to AP Parameter form.

Rajesh

Is this the exact error what you are getting?

because the system will show any error like - you need to purchase it.

The licensing model has changed between 3 and 2009, you have not bought it so you do not get access. The obvious question is why do you need to open it when you have not purchased the functionality?

Sorry my english is not fluently

" Insufficient permissions to use the table parameters of the demand for purchase (PurchReqParameters)."

I work as an Admin user

I run a accounting office and
I do not need a module to purchase or sell but would like define number sequences in :

Setting up accounts payable parameters

so how can I set in :Setting up accounts payable parameters

If you do not need the module which number sequence are you trying to define? I would suggest if you have not purchased AP then you will have no access and therefore no need to define a number sequence. Check with your partner regarding license changes 3 to 2009, although I would have hoped this difference would have been spotted by you in teh testing environment.

I need to set the parameters of settlements with suppliers: eg
posting profiles, EU Internal Invoice, etc.

So you are using journals to post to suppliers and want to control the posting profiles in this manner? You have no access to the purchase ledger so you cannot post from there. I would suggest you talk to your partner and verify the licensing requirements for what you are trying to achieve. Without AP you cannot have access to AP, this would seem to be a loophole that Microsoft have closed from earlier versions.
