Budget Control on Purchase Requisition

Hello Everyone!

Please how do I enable a budget check on purchase requisition. I have checked those boxes in the budget control configuration, created an original budget and now created a purchase requisition but it seems not to be checking it. What else am I suppose to do?

GL Parameters> enable the below parameters

Accounting rules to use, enable encumbrance process, enable pre-encumbrance.

You should also define the posting definitions. GL>setup>posting definition. you may need to take help of someone. Ensure that you are not working in LIVE.

Thanks dear, but does the budget module only work with P&L accounts? Also, can I use a different dimension for my budget and my budget control configuration, will it perform the budget check?
