Hi Guys

Is it possible to permanently set the quantity in an Item’s BOM Quantity as a fraction i.e 1/28 rather than a decimal (to 5 places) 0.03571. 28 x 0.03571 = 0.99988 thus leaving a residual of 0.00012 on my Raw Material Balance on Hand

I think you need to change base unit of measure… I guess you have Box of something that has 28 usints and BOM require 1 unit…

Make Base Unit of Measure 'Unit" and Purchasing Unit of Measure Box.

Thanks for responding, the issue i have is that we store 28 rolls on a pallet and i want to reflect 1/28 pallet usage on the BOM of each individual roll, however as you can tell from above i am struggling to get in to work correctly! Any suggestions?

Just use Base Unit Of measure = Roll and Piurchase Unit Of Massure = Pallet

and change BOM to use Qty Per = 1 Roll
