Holly, that’s slightly incorrect…
The “15” means that Maxwell is running BC15 application on a BC23 runtime. Someone has just runtime upgraded the system and not loaded the proper bc23 app files.
Hi…
Your Business Central on-premises installation details provide specific information about the version and build of the software you are using. Here’s what each part of the version information means:
Version: W1 23.0:
Platform 23.0.12831.0:
Application 15.0.36560.36649:
You are using the Worldwide (W1) version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, major version 23.0. The platform version is 23.0.12831.0, and the application version is 15.0.36560.36649.
This indicates you have the core system components and runtime necessary for the Business Central application at platform version 23.0 with build 12831.0, and the application business logic and features at version 15.0 with build 36560.36649. It’s important to note that version and build numbers help in identifying the specific updates and features available in your installation, as well as for troubleshooting and support purposes.
We never upgraded. We were having issues with the license and we got issued another one and that’s the moment i noticed that change, could it be a license which caused this?
