I m new to Navision. Can any techie send any code for using Barcode reader code and procedure for installation of Barcode device and necessary action for doing the same. I want to use the barcode reader in Sales Transaction lines and Tranfer Order transaction lines. Pushpendra Singh
Pushpendra: A barcode reader device is attached like a keyboard wedge and when used will insert the scanned information into a field in navision, as long as you have setup Cross-Reference between Item and Barcode. Steve
if i understood correctly, you dont need to do anything…most of barcode readers dont need any driver or configuration…just plug and play
connect ur barcode reader and open notepad…start scanning it will come…
sometimes you need to scan some configuration barcodes that comes along with the device manual.
