Bar Coding

No spaces. Let’s take a step back.

Now you have to take a look at the font. Control Panel->Fonts

Here, I assume you did File->Install New Font Instead of just dropping the font into the font folder.
2nd do you see BC C39 3 TO 1 Narrow in your font list.
3rd are you sure the TypeFace name is spelled completely correctly in the Font Name Property?
4th did you complete exit the report after compile and go back in fresh so your changes will work?

OK

Yes, I installed the font correctly

Yes, I see the font in the list

I copied and paste the name from your email and double checked it

Yes, I keep getting out of NAV and going back in to test the label

Something is still grabbing that old font. I am going to remove it and see what happens.

Check it out…attached. I removed the font and now I get NO FONT!!!

So, somewhere NAV is looking for this old font and isn’t paying attention to the FontName in the properties - ??8640.Serial Label 2 x 4.pdf (6.39 KB)

I would go to the report. View Sections, right click on THAT field & view it’s properties. Change the name to BC C39 3 to 1 Narrow. Close Save Compile. Close Nav, go back in, Try report again.

Are you printing this report on a laser printer for testing or is this generated from that printer you mentioned earlier. Is that some special label printer or something? Is it over riding windows font’s with printer fonts?

Sounds like you’re on the doorstep of figuring this out. LOL - I should have went right to explaining the barcode generator, I’m almost out of hair [:D]

I got it!!!

There are two unique reports for printing 1X3 & 2X4 lables in addition to the main report!!

Once I modify these I am sure it will work…

Thank you for all your help, you rock!!

Just as a little icing on the cake…
