Balance Sheet question

Hi, I have finished to create my Balance sheet ( around 110 lines) BUT Instead of using “Beginning Balance” in the “Row type” column , I used “Net change”.

I need to see the balance sheet at december 31st 2010; I also want to see my Income statement for the period between 1st january 2010 to 31st december 2010 ( in that case my row type was net change.

Any help will be appreaciated.

You can (and you should ) have different Columns Layouts for Income Statement and Balance Sheets.

In Column Layout, Column Type:

for BS, commonly will use Beginning Balance, Balance at Date

you may have 3 columns to show the changes:

Beginning Balance > Net Change > Balance at Date

Again, these are Column Type settings

Thanks Rics. What happen if I didnt use “Balance at date” in the column type. Do I need to rebuilt mt account schedule or I can still see amounts using date filter???
