In AX2012 Project module, can we view the budget balance by project category or by WBS activity?

Yes you can if you’ve entered with that detail.

on budget windows (Item, Expense, and Hour), you’ll need to select Category and Activity with every line.

Can you tell me exactly where is it? I click on budget balance, it only shows me 3 lines (Item, Expense and Hour) without category and activity. I can define project budget in both category and WBS but i cannot see remaining balance by this.

I am looking at the Budget balance screen, not project budget screen.
