I posted the purchase order invoice but still not getting the cost amount for the purchase order. Also no inventory value for the item I purchased.
Kindly advise.

Could it be that the item is “not a stocked item” ?
Please look at setup of the “item model group” for the item you purchased for the field “Stocked product”.
Otherwise please provide some more data of where you’re looking and missing values ?
Posting the invoice will not update the purchase order line.
Run the inventory close process to ensure the costs are pushed through.
What is your costing method?
