AX 4.0 - how to close a warehouse and it's location?

Hi all,

I’m trying to find out how I close a warehouse in AX 4.0.

Since I have had transactions on it it should only be closed for user transactions - meaning that no one should be able to transfer items to it.

Can any body help me with this?

You cannot do this as stadnard, you if you are using WMSII you can block the locations, but if not you cannot. If you want to delete the warehouse you need to remove the stock, delete the locations and then delete it. You may also consider renaming it to ZZ with a description of DO NOT USE etc, depends why it is closed.
