Can you run SharePoint foundation or do you have no choice to run SharePoint Enterprise with AX 2012?
At $10,000 for SharePoint Enterprise seems like an expensive requirement and trying to confirm.
SharePoint Foundation is supported, as well as SharePoint Server (Standard and Enterprise).
