Hello,

I would like to allow users to select multiple options (multi-select, choices) for an auto-complete control. For example. I would like to select BOTH United States and United Kingdom. I understand that this field has the auto-complete control. Is there something I can do other than rebuild every country in a choices option set?

Hello! If you want to change the out-of-the-box choice field for Country/Region to be a Choices (multi-select) field, you will need to rebuilt it.

Or, search XrmToolBox for a tool… but that’s a dangerous game changing attribute type. Make sure you do a bulk data update if you go that route :slight_smile:

I was actually wondering if Multi-select picklists function on legacy webforms. For me it does not and I was wondering if it’s only supposed to work on the Unified interface forms.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t work there - that’s where they were born! Curious what issues you’re seeing…

In Legacy web app, I can’t edit and search for the options.

Accessing the same record in Customer Service Hub app, I can search for and add options to the record.

In the Legacy Web app, there is no control to select options on a multiselect picklist. When I open the same record in the same form using Customer Service Hub, there is a control to search for and select options on the multiselect picklist.

:thinking: hmmm when I have some time I’ll try to play around with this…

@Allison_Briden can you try these steps? The fantastic people at Inogic posted this in 2021 and the screenshots are the “old school” form :wink:

Thank you! I have tried the method of using a SingleLineofText field and applying the MultiSelectPicklist Control to the field on the form. It did not work.

Updating this thread in case others have this problem but we were able to solve this with a simple setting! If you’re having the same issue, check your settings and toggle “Use legacy form rendering” to No. That should get you rocking and rolling! :star_struck:
