Hello, This is my first post so I hope it’s in the right section of the forum.
At work I’ve been asked to be part of a evaluation team for a new ERP and POS for my company. We are a medium sized fashion retailer. The leading contender is a product called Pebblestone that is apparently based on MS NAV and MS POS.
My question is:
Are MS NAV and MS POS integrated at source i.e. in the factory at Microsoft headoffice so that they are genuinely one product? Or are they actually 2 products that are integrated by partners during the implementation?
The reason I ask is because at my previous job (at a very large size retailer) we used Oracle and had lots of issues between Oracle ERP and Oracle POS. The MS partner we are dealing with is presenting NAV+POs as a single solution and repeated questoning of them always comes back with the same naswer but I’m not sure we can beleive them.
Any help or pointers will be appreciated.
