Approved time sheets are not posting automatically in AX 2012 R3

Hi All,

Approved time sheets are not getting posted automatically even though we setup “Automatic” posting in Project Management and accounting parameters.

Please help me in resolving the issue.

Hi,

Once can you open form AOT\Forms\Tutorial_WorkflowProcessor and click Start. Then approve the timesheet and see if it is posted. I feel the workflow is not complete, that is why it did not post any hour transaction on project upon timesheet approval.

Also validate in the project management and accounting parameters.

In the Timesheet/ Approved timesheet posting field, select either Manual or Automatic.

  1. If you select Manual, you must manually post the approved timesheet in the unposted timesheets form. This offers you another opportunity to review the submitted hours before they are posted.
  2. If you select Automatic, System will post the journal entry once the approval is through.
