Applying E-Signatures for PO Workflow Approval

Hi All,

I am trying to apply E-Signatures for PO Workflow Approval. I am seeking possibility of E-signatures whenever we submit/approve/reject the PO i.e. bring any change to Document Status of PO.

As soon as we submit PO, the system should prompt for E-Sign. Same should be the functionality at Approver’s side, upon approval, must ask for E-sign.

may be this can give you way to achieve it,

goto electronic signature requiremetn form , add the purchTable in it with the condition on field WorkkflowStatus and execute only at update time.

One of the pre-requisite for this requirement is to have valid certificate for users who are in workflow process.

Make sure user who submits and who approves must have valid certificate. Because after configuring electronic signature requirements for purchase order, while submitting it will pop-up for electronic signature where submitting user must specify valid password. Similarly for user who approves the PO.

There is no condition as “Workflowstatus” as suggested by you in Purch Table. Find snapshot attached.

For Document Change Status, Field “DocumentStatus” is here. I already tried to use that for any changes but of now use.

Thanks for that. Yes, I already have ensured that all the users have valid E-Sign Certificate. For any field updates, they all are able to receive the pop-up for electronic signatures. But the issue is lying more during PO Workflow submission or approvals. The E-sign window doesn’t pop out for the workflow.
