AOS Sorting Items?

Hello all,

is there a way to get the items in the AOS sorted automatically? E.g. via options or something else (macro?).

I’m new to AX (comming from .NET) and i found this (feature?) really annoying. On the one hand it may be practical but on the other hand it happens often that someone is moving the items around.

Welcome to DUG :slight_smile:

Not sure I completely follow your above query.

In essence, data in database is static and it is up to developers to manipulate this data from code. Are you fetching items from .NET? Please clarify your query.

Thanks for responding. But I mean sorting the items in the IDE - not data in the database.

For example: I create a project wich contains tables and so on. Now i can order the tables manually (by pressing ALT + KEYUP / KEYDOWN). But i want to order the items automatically.

There is no option where by tables could be automatically sorted this way.
