Analysis by dimension in Axapta

Hi ,

For example User had posted the Purchase invoices , sales invoices and journals with dimension valiues . Now user need to analyze the data with dimension values . What is the functionality availble in Axapta to analyze the data with dimension values ( in Navision we have the functionality called Analysis by dimension ).

Please let me know the path of that functionality in AX 2009 / 2012 ?

you can use report under General Ledger reports> Transactions > Dimension statement. You create a dimension focus withe the hierarchy how you want it like Ledger account,Department selected in the focus and use the created focus in generating the report.
