An error occurred while regenerating WCF configuration

I got below error when I tried to configure services in Microsoft Dynamics Ax Configuration Utility.

"An error occurred while regenerating WCF configuration:

Exception occurred on the metadata service on client or server.

See exception details below:

>Unable to log on to microsoft dynamics AX."

Can any one help to resolve from this issue.

Actually i have deleted appdata… now it’s working fine…!! :slight_smile:

C:\Users%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Dynamics AX

Check this path is available in ur system and try to delete that ‘Dynamics Ax’ folder .

I have another problem

when i started Dynamics Ax i have this error message

unable to logon to dynamic ax

When i create a new instance (AOS ) I can log on

Hi,

  1. Check whether ur server name,Instance name, TCP/IP Port is correct or not as per ur config file in Microsoft Dynamics Ax Configuration utility.

  2. Then check whether ur AOS service is started.

  3. Refresh ur WCF Configuration.

  4. Restart ur System and try to open ur Dynamics Ax.

when I click in refresh button i have this error , server, instance name and port tcp/ip is correct

When I refresh my WCF configuration I have this problem. my Server name, instance name and TCP/IP port is correct

Hi,

Create one new configuration and then import ur config file back again,try to open ur client.

Kindly check ur AOS is started in services.msc

Kindly reinstall ur AX client and restore ur SQLdatabase.
