Adding users to new on-prem bc

Hi guys, i created a new company on prem, so i want users that were using the old company to access the new company, how do i do it on the onprem version. So i would want a user to see the new company when they go to the my settings to change company

You have two option for the User update.

  1. Copy company, When you copy the data from your old company to New company all the data and setup will move to the New Company.

  2. If you create the company without any data, you need to create the Users manually and provide the Company Name to access the environment. But you can copy and post the Users setups from the Old company to New company.

Since you are asking the question, I am assuming your User’s permissions are restricted to a specific company. You would need to add matching permissions for the new Company OR remove the company restriction. If the Company Name is blank on the permission, it applies the same permission to all companies.
