There is no way to extend reports. You can create custom layouts, but you can’t add fields to the dataset.
To make a modified version of a standard report you can create a copy of a standard report and modify that

Guess you didn’t say WOW, but ment HOW?
The copy part is easy. Open the Zipped base application (in applications\BaseApp\Source on the DVD and in bcartifacts.cache). Here you find the .al and .rdlc (or .docx) files of the original standard report.
The next part is to either create a new extension for the report, or add it to an existing extension. Give the report object a new name (i.e. add your suffix/prefix) and a new number. If you rename the file, make sure to update the layout reference.
