Is anyone else working with Navision and an add on POS software called InfoStore Slutions?
Yes, we sell Infostore to the danish market.
I would like to be able to have a popup window in the POS were the cashier would have to respond to it by checking one of serveral choices. Then I would need to be able to print a report to analize our customers response to the question. For marketing and advertising analyis.
Although it is not a POS you may also want to look into a software called E-Con (used to be called E-Configurator) We use it here to answer questons at the time of sales. It does not store any of the data, just asks the questions and passes the data to Navision.
PlusPOS… also a Navision POS solution uses infocodes throughout the system to gather this kind of information. Infocodes can e.g. prompt the user to ask what the customer’s age is or prompt the user to tell the customer about a particular promotion.
Infostore uses infocodes as well, in a fashion much like requested.
ohlfert how do I set up an infocode? It sounds like what we need to do for the marketing project. Thanks ahead of time. Sbanatt
Design/setup a button page (ex. ‘Info’ as page name) with the infocodes you want with selection type = Infocode. In the ‘No. (filter)’ field you enter/choose the Infocode option you want to see in your POS-log Then make a new entry in the Actions setup with Sales Type = ‘At posting’, Action = ‘Select Dialog Page’ and in Execute ID = no. of first Infocode button you made above.
