Dear all,
I got following error message when I do firm Planned PO :
"1 planned order was removed from the selection, because it is directly derived
No planned order are selected"
This error just occurs in one item number, I deleted all current Planned PO and re-run MRP again, but still got above error message when I do firm/Approve PO. And the “Delete” button always be disabled, so I must press Alt + F9 to delete these Planned Orders
Is there any invalid setup in this item?
How can I solve this issue, please share with me.
Thank you
It means it is being driven by another planned order, releasing the master order will also release the derived requirements.
Dear AdamRoue,
How can I check this? The planned order of this item is Planned purchase order.
All other items that have same setup just generate Purchase order
The pegging is telling you it is pegged to a BOM Line, look at that planned order - the line you have an issue with is pegged supply on the BOM of that parent - releasing the parent planned order should release the one you have the issue with. As it is pegged you cannot release it by itself, it relies on the parent being released.
Thank you AdamRoue,
I’ve checked the BOM parent and found that the Line type of this item is “Vendor”, I changed to “item” then re-run MRP.
It’s okay now.
Vendor would have the same impact - it means until the parent is released the planned purchase should not be
