I know there are several topics in this forum on the .zup file, but after reading them I am more confused than ever about how this file is created and where it is stored. In the parameters of my desktop shortcut I have incuded id=myid. I was of the understanding this parameter signaled the creation of a .zup file. There are currently 15 open sessions in the database, but when I close Navsion, I do not get the "do you want to save the ZUP file? question, and no .zup file is created. I hate to ask, but can someone tell me what I am missing here?
Hello Steve, Have you openned more than once session on the same client? If you open Navision twice from the same PC using the same Icon (With your zup file name specified), when you come to close the second session, Navision will ask you if you would like to save the zup file. RE: Zup file location - Are you looking in the right place. In 3.60, the zup file is saved to the users Documents & Settings folder, not the program file folder as per 2.50 and earlier. Hope this is of some help.
Hi Edward, Thanks for the response. I have been unable to find the file in the Documents and Settings folder, is it still a .zup file or does it have some other extension?
Hi Steve, This should be in: C:\Documents and Settings\MyUserID\Application Data The extension should still be .zup Cheers

It seems to me this is a hidden (or system?) file…Do you have the Folder Options set correctly?
Edward, Thanks for the direction. Exactly as you said.
