We are getting the error “You must select a value in the item category field in combination with the following dimensions values that are valid” while posting counting journal
Analysis: to post the counting journal brand and item category are the mandatory as per accounting structure so this two dimensions are selected at item level ans same are updated in counting journal lines level however system system is not allowing to post
but if we give this two dimensions (brand & item category) at main account master level as a fixed dimensions system is allowing to post the counting journal with out any error
Therefore we would request all that why system is not considering the dimensions at item level but considering it at ledger level which is wrong because we can’t give the fixed dimensions at ledger level because this two dimensions are item specific and there multiple dimensions which we can’t fix at ledger level.
