Workflow for multiple instances in same machine

Hi all,

I have a server system with 2 instances in it.

workflow for the 1st instance works fine.When i installed a second instance and try to set the work flow infrasturcture and check for the work flow approval,it never appears to the assigned user.

Is it that workflow works for only 1 instance when there are multiple instances in same machine?
