After installing Navision2.60 for SQL, Windows 95 writes: "Installing following components: " (translated from Danish) every time Windows is started. And the only thing that happends, is that my wallpaper disapears. This behavier is opserved on several machines. Any ideers on how to get rid of this? Edited by - tsa on 2001 Sep 11 12:49:20
If I remember it correctly, this has something to do with wininit.ini. This file (which is typically used in installation processes that involve updates of files that are in use, such as DLLs) should be processed by wininit.exe during start up, after which it is renamed to wininit.bak.
