While posting the inventory through Whse. Phys. Invt. Journal is not updating the item master Nav 2009

Dear All,

While posting the inventory through Whse. Phys. Invt. Journal, inventory is updating in the bin content form. But not updating in the item card. No item ledger entries are updating. Can any one explain.

Yes. there is difference between inventory and physical inventory. This is only my issue.

Yes there is a difference between inventory and physical inventory.

Available qty Bin is 1100.

Available qty on item card is 3500.

Difference is 3500-1100. what about remaining 2400 qty.

And what is the difference between BIN & Item Card ?

You need to run the “Calculate Whse. Adjustment” function on the Item Journal and post. You need to do this each time.

Yes, i posted again i am getting the difference of 2400. how to track this 2400.

Bin inventory is ware house inventory of that item.

Item card inventory is physical inventory of that item…

Can you show screen shot of the Inventory of Item card & Bin Contents of that Inventory from item card->Item Button ->BIN Contents.
