Where do KPI Goals come from please??

Hello all,

I’m working within the standard Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 demo image, and am trying to set up some decent data for a presentation. Within the KPI listing, I have a number of values, but I can’t seem to find where the “Goals” for each KPI are entered. Could anyone point me in the right direction please? Example - Total Revenue Goal or New Leads Goal.

Actually which version you are working with and need more clarifications.

Working with AX2012 R2 and it’s the Microsoft Demo Virtual Image. On the role based home page I have a finance KPI based upon the General Ledger - Total Revenue and another based upon the sales and marketing cube, New Leads Goal. Example:0246.KPI Examples.jpg

The goals formulas are defined in SQL Server Cubes. For exemple, for the leads it’s an hardcoded value

Open the pretended BI Cube in Visual Studio. Find the matching PKI and edit the goal formula. The text box accepts MDX queries.
