# What's the Finished flag in Output Journal for?

Hi, in the Output Journal line (version 3.70a) there is a boolean field called Finished. What is it for? I thought that setting it to true in a entry against a middle routing line it would cause the following routing lines to be automatically filled with the same quantity and the product inventory to be updated. Instead, when I tried it, nothing happened neither in the journal nor after the posting. Is there something to set up to have it working or is the field there just for the fun of it. [}:)] Anna

Basically it just sets a flag in the Posted Capacity lines. I can’t see that the field is actually used for anything though. I have used it in reports though, and in a mod that sort of does what you were expecting.
