What the Hell is the Tracking Specification Table

Just want to know what the tracking specification is for. Ive seen that its used as a temporary table for displaying records in the Item Tracking Lines form. But it reads and writes mostely to the reservation entry. furthermore, if i write some serial nos. into the reservation entry with the correct information, it is displayed correctly in the item tracking lines. therefore i wonder: what do i need the tracking specification for, if i can handle everything via the reservation entry??? just wondering about that …

Hi, This table is just like the copy of Reservation entry but it is used to carry the item tracking entries of items that have been partially posted. When the document quantity is fully posted, they are summed up with the remaining item tracking entries in the Reservation Entry table.
