What 'exactly' happens during a "Technical Upgrade" from previous versions to NAV 5.0

Hello team,

I’ve done successful NAV upgrades to many of our customers now from various versions starting from Navision 3.7 to Navision 4.0 SP3 to NAV 5.0 SP1.

Even though I have a vague idea on what happens during the Technical Upgrade, I want to know What ‘exactly’ happens when you convert a database from previous versions to NAV 5.0 or NAV 2009.

I can’t tell you exactly, but if you start SQL Profiler on your user id during the conversion you will see exactly what happens to the database.
