The problem is that you did not change the parameters when you installed the latest of the two products - so you have overwritten the first one.

The best way of running both products if not in production - is to run it dockerized.

In order to get both to work correctly without to many difficulties I would do the following

1. Uninstall the version you installed last.

2. Do a Repair installation of the first one, and check that everything works as expeded

3. Install the new one - but remember to check all the settings by NOT selecting a standard installation

If you want more versions of NAV/BC on the same pc, then it would be much better to run it as Docker containers.

I’d be happy to help you with your questions!

1. Can we install Dynamics NAV 2018 and Dynamics 365 Business Central on the same server/PC?

Yes, it is possible to install both Dynamics NAV 2018 and Dynamics 365 Business Central on the same server/PC. However, you need to ensure that:

- Both installations use different database instances (e.g., NAV 2018 uses SQL Server 2016, while Business Central uses SQL Server 2017 or later).
- Both installations use different web server instances (e.g., NAV 2018 uses IIS 8.5, while Business Central uses IIS 10 or later).
- You configure the installations to use different ports and URLs to avoid conflicts.

1. Business Central web client is not working after installing on a system with NAV 2018 already installed.

The error message you’re seeing (HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found) suggests that the web client is not configured correctly or is not able to find the requested resource.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check the web client configuration: Ensure that the web client is configured correctly in the Business Central administration center.
2. Verify the IIS configuration: Check the IIS configuration to ensure that the Business Central web client is configured correctly and is using the correct port and URL.
3. Check for conflicts with NAV 2018: Ensure that there are no conflicts between the NAV 2018 and Business Central installations, such as port conflicts or database conflicts.
4. Try accessing the web client using a different URL: Try accessing the web client using a different URL, such as [http://localhost:8080/BC130/webclient](http://localhost:8080/BC130/webclient) instead of [http://localhost:8080/BC130](http://localhost:8080/BC130).
5. Check the event logs: Check the event logs for any errors related to the web client or IIS configuration.
