We are implementing a low volume document scanning project that will require between 3 and 30 scans per day of PDF encoded seed test data. Many of these documents represent updated test data that will overwrite the existing BLOBs, thus easing the Navision database storage requirement. I need a recommendation for a scanner. I am evaluating the HP 8290 and others in that price range like the Fujitsu fi 4220C and Fujitsu i80. Does anyone have experience with scanning hardware and automation/ocx controlling that hardware via C/Side? [?]
We use HP9100C. Works great. Scan to pdf-file and import in Navision as blob
