Hi folks, is there any Source Code / Version Control System ( Like MS Visual Source Safe ), that works from /with Navision C/side? In SQL-Server installations with Attain you can see some stored procedures like “dt_addtosourcecontrol”. Does anyone know, how this works? Henning Möller - “Multibank” Software Service - Germany
I haven’t heard of any, but I’m very interested also.
We use MS visual source safe, storing the objects as text. This gives version control, but lacks the code locking that you would also associate with a source control system. Another alternative we have just purchased and are looking at is the “Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision Developer’s Toolkit”. This integrates with the Navision Client and C/AL aware. Again no code locking, but lots of other benefits.
