Is is possible examine a licence file directly and determine the object ranges that customer has access to?
Hi I dont think so you can do that, but usually NSC’s will be sent a text format of license file in which the object range is defined. reagrds MK

JUst create a simple form based on the license permission table. Make sure of course that you are using the clients license when running the form.

Hm, if we are speaking about N3, there is no permission range table.
We have a lot of Customers. Not all are using the same object ranges (inherited etc). I wanted a “global” solution if possible! My first thought was to create an almost empty db which you could run against any licence - but there doesn’t seem to be a parameter on fin.exe which allows you to specify the licence file
