what is the use of Commit function in Navision.

Quite simply unless you are 100% sure you need a commit command, and are 100% sure its safe then you should not be using it.

commit function is use to save a transaction explicitly.

Wait, not “a” transaction! ALL transactions done so far! It is a small difference in writing (2 “ll”) but a big difference for the database.
