Our company has 3 main offices (Head office in Belgium (Europe), one smaller office in Cyprus and one for sales purposes in the USA (Atlanta region). After a period of 5 years working for a NSC, I now work for that customer and am responsible for all Navision installations and the ‘surrounding’ applications. We bought a developers license so that’s no problem. In every office we have a seperate Navision installation. Next month I have do an upgrade of the Atlanta database. Now they use Navision Financials 2.50 and the goal is to upgrade to the latest version (3.70a). Problem is that I don’t have a Fin 2.50 CD and can’t find a download version on the partnerguide. The NSC we work with in Belgium and Microsoft Belgium also don’t have a CD. Can I use the Worldwide version 2.60 to open the database or do i need a specific USA version? Any information about upgrade problems (2.50 to 3.70) are also welcome.

Leemans, If you’re using Advanced distribution on your database you’ll need upgrading to 3.60A and then to 3.70A. If not, an straight upgrade to 3.70A will be fine. You probably will also need the upgrade toolkit for the upgrade… and about the executable, I haven’t tried with opening the database with the Worldwide version, but I think that you should be able of doing so. Just send me a private for the 3.70A.
