Updating already existing record using Excel

Dear All,

I am trying to import some data for already existing items. But while importing, there is a error message ‘Record already exists’. Is there any other way to import data for already created records. I am using the basic Excel import feature of AX.

Try with the import rule - “Insert new and update existing records”. In the Advanced tab.

Where can i find the advanced tab… sorry but i really could not find this one.

Im using AX2012 R2 CU7 and Excel 2010!
