Unmerge Vendor and Customer by associating to different records in Global Address Book ?

Hi, one of my User mistakenly merged the addressbook record of a customer with the address book record of an unrelated Vendor. How do i unmerge them now ? can i directly update the partyId in the custTable and VendTable ? are there any dependencies that i am missing ?

Any suggestions/advice would be grt

Do someone know the solution of this?

I have the same problem. I have one customer and another (unrelated) vendor which are linked and synchronized against my will, because the same Address book ID is assigned to them.

I will appreciate if someone tell me how to change the Address book ID of customer or vendor.
