Unable to import the extension package from the Busness central sandbox environment into the production environment.

Hi everyone,

So i have published a package in the sandbox environment of Business Central. Now i need to export the published files from the sand box environment and import it to the production environment. When i try to import or publish it in the production, it is asking for .app(dotApp) file. Can someone please explain on what is this .app(Dotapp) file and what to do next inorder to achieve my result?

I would be much obliged if someone could throw a light on what to do next,

how did you publish your extension in sandbox environment?

if you are using visual studio code then it will create .app file in your folder which needs to be uploaded in production environment from extensions page.
