Hi,

Am trying a method, just as a try am having 2 fields in a table. Those fields am having in the form also. The first field is a option field, second one is the code. In the option field am having the options as Item, G/L Account, Resource etc. If am selecting the item option in the first field the caption for the second field has to be changed to ITem & the look up for the second field should go to Item list form if the option i select is G/L Account then the caption should change to G/L Account and the look up for the second field should go to G/L Account.Is There any chance for this method.

Have a look at table 37 Sales Line and how it is done there.

For the coditional lookup see the “No.” field and for the dynaic caption look at the “Unit Price” field.
