Transferring Forecasts to Sub-Projects - AX 2012 CU4

Hi All

I’m looking for some advice on cascading project forecasts down from a parent project to multiple layers of sub-projects. Our WBS structures can be quite complex so we want to avoid manual data entry at every level. I’m not currently aware of any transfer feature on our version of AX (2012 CU4).

Any thoughts or guidance most welcome.

Hi Emily

There is no cascading feature I am afraid to my knowledge. I believe in R3 there will be a forecast tool that will allow more flexibility including the export and import aligned with SSRS analytics and SharePoint workflow. However I am not sure if you could apply the SSRS analytics to split proportionally by whatever allocation method you would want on each of the sub-projects.
