transfering Items to production

Hi to all,

How can I transfer an Inventory Item (RM or BOM) to Production?

I hope you can help me on this matter.

Generally it can be done in two ways.

  1. The stock can be directly consumed from the available location.

  2. For better control you can have one more location - say “Shop Floor”(Example) and you can transfer the stocks from the original location to that by using a transfer journal - and consumption can happen from there.

I hope with the 2 option you can have more control over the inventory.
