There is a corrupt area in the database

We are a Microsoft NAV partner. We have a customer who is using the C/Side NAV 4.0 database. We have a situation when running the database tests returns an error stating “There is a corrupt area in the database”. We are aware Microsoft can use a tool called C/DART to try fix the corrupted database.

My Question:

Does anyone know of a tool or procedures to fix the corrupted database other than using Microsoft?

This is what I would do:

Create a backup using standard Tools → Backup
Create a new database-file and restore into that one
Not until after this, delete the old database-file
